Job Description We---re a growing Fishing Tackle business looking for a Warehouse Receiving Associate to add to our fun team. We are known for the great care we provide our customers and employees alike. The Company : Tackle Technology is known across the bay area, northern and central California, making it the largest fishing tackle warehouses and retail stores in the area. We have a love for the outdoors and getting all ages and skill levels out to enjoy fishing. The Position : We---re looking for a Warehouse Receiving Associate to join the team starting at $18.00/hr. Job Description : the Warehouse Receiving Associate is the point person responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate receipt of items ordered and placed in specified areas of the warehouse. Warehouse receivers unload packages and check their contents to ensure they match the orders. MUST BE be extremely detail oriented and possess basic math skills. It is also expected that warehouse receivers have adequate physical strength to successfully unload shipments. Operating hours are between 7am-6pm (we have NO overnight shifts or graveyard available). Job Duties : -Manages the receiving of all products and materials. -Collaborates and communicates with accounting and billing departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies -Ensures that products received match up with what was ordered -Use internal software to receive and inventory products into our system (must be able to learn and navigate computer warehouse software) -Communicates with other warehouse pickers on where to place new product -Communicates with buyers to determine what new product is expected and when it will arrive at the warehouse - Must be FORKLIFT CERTIFIED to unload shipments -Must be able to problem solve and contact necessary shipment vendors to troubleshoot all shipping issues. -Inspect and maintain all warehouse receiving equipment including reporting malfunctions, insufficiencies, or necessary repairs through relevant channels. -Provides additional back support for various warehouse departments Skills : -Must be FORKLIFT CERTIFIED -Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time -Must be able to lift 50lbs -Attention to detail -- Dependable daily attendance and work output. -- Work quickly in a very fast-moving environment. -- Strong communication skills both written and verbally -- General knowledge of computer warehouse applications. -- Experience with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and pallet jacks Work Hours- Monday --- Friday 7:00am-6 (8 hour shift within our work hours) (subject to change).
