You will offer expert advice and coordinate our programs, recommending modifications to electric and/or gas systems, and persuading clients of the benefits of improved efficiency. The position combines fieldwork (approximately 3 days/week) with office work (about 2 days/week). Responsibilities include energy advice, trade partner facilitation, and identifying opportunities for energy efficiency, including promoting various incentive measures relevant to the customer segment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install energy-saving products as directed by management
• Follow safety protocols of the organization and utility client
• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers, trade allies, and stakeholders
• Understand and implement the company's sales process, including outbound calls and new business development
• Manage field visits effectively, develop and deliver awareness presentations, and respond to customer inquiries
• Collaborate with utility customers, document on-site opportunities, and prepare reports for customers and managers
• Discuss technical aspects of energy-consuming equipment (lighting, HVAC, insulation, air sealing)
• Input data into spreadsheets/databases to track savings and manage projects
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior
• Build rapport with customers and work collaboratively with team members
• Provide written summaries to customers and managers, assist in training new team members, and lead promotional presentations
• Assist with rebate applications and install energy efficiency products
• Perform other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; technical school plus relevant experience considered
  • 3-5 years in utility, facilities management, HVAC, lighting, or energy management
  • Experience managing customer outreach teams
  • 2-3 years in energy efficiency or modeling
  • Customer service, sales, or marketing experienceSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities
    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize
    • Flexible and adaptable to change
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
    • Effective communicator, able to analyze data and solve problems
    • Knowledge of mathematical concepts and commitment to diversity and inclusion
