- Experience with policy development, implementation, and
maintenance.

concerns, navigates legal frameworks, and enforces worldwide
policy, playing a vital role in enhancing the YouTube experience,
internet safety, and free speech.As a Trust and Safety Policy
Development Lead, you will excel at context switching,
initiative-taking, and rallying colleagues around shared goals.
Your role involves developing global policies and managing
cross-functional projects impacting the ecosystem, especially in
areas like Scaled Abuse and Generative AI. You may review graphic
or offensive content aligned with YouTube's Community Guidelines.We

community. Working at the intersection of technology and
creativity, we aim to move at the speed of culture, exploring new
ideas and solving real problems together. The US base salary range
is $129,000-$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary
specifics depend on location, skills, experience, and
education.Responsibilities
- Develop and update global online content policies.
- Influence stakeholders and executives regarding content policy
efforts.
- Lead research and training for new policies and emerging risks,
collaborating with global teams for effective implementation.
- Build partnerships across functions like public policy, PR,
legal, product, engineering, and sales, especially regarding trends
