The team handles online content concerns, navigates legal frameworks, and enforces worldwide policy, playing a vital role in enhancing the YouTube experience, internet safety, and free speech.As a Trust and Safety Policy Development Lead, you will excel at context switching, initiative-taking, and rallying colleagues around shared goals. Your role involves developing global policies and managing cross-functional projects impacting the ecosystem, especially in areas like Scaled Abuse and Generative AI. You may review graphic or offensive content aligned with YouTube's Community Guidelines.We believe everyone deserves a voice and that sharing stories builds community. The US base salary range is $129,000-$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary specifics depend on location, skills, experience, and education.Responsibilities
      • Develop and update global online content policies.
      • Influence stakeholders and executives regarding content policy efforts.
      • Lead research and training for new policies and emerging risks, collaborating with global teams for effective implementation.
