and a Behavioral Health Home.Position SummaryThe Data
Entry/Receptionist position provides high quality customer service
in health care center. Primary duties include handling confidential
client/patient information following standards of HIPAA and The
Joint Commission. Data input of client/patient information into the
program's data base, running reports, supporting management in
auditing service records. Support staff to maintain client/patient
charts from opening to closing and archiving. Greet
clients/patients and all visitors of the health center. Assist
Family Resource Center staff as needs arise related to classes and
events. Support medical reception staff as needed. Maintain office
appearance and organization, perform various clerical tasks
including; maintaining meeting records, filing, copying, scanning,
shredding, and other administrative support activities. Required
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency;One or more
year's related office/data entry experience preferred;OR an
equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to
successfully perform the essential duties of the job;Strong
computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, database
software, EHR, Adobe;Strong administrative and organizational
skills;Strong verbal and written communication skills;Strong
interpersonal and customer service skills;Strong detail
orientation;Experience working in data entry;Ability to maintain
confidentiality and professional boundaries;Ability to provide high
quality customer services with diverse populations including
parents and children of all ethnic heritages, persons of various
languages and limited English, parents mandated to services,
impoverished community members, families seeking stress
reduction.Ability to work with a team;Critical thinking in
assessing data reports with team;Valid California Driver's license
with insurable driving record.Adherence to infection control
procedures, including but not limited to, standard precautions of
temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring,
masking and social distancing.Assist and support the
Center/Department/Program to meet standards of High
Reliability.Essential ResponsibilitiesEnter data into the Birth &
Beyond Persimmony database; Prepare, process and maintain client
files which may include preparing daily charts and purging
files;Perform data clean up;Attend sponsored data entry trainings
and meetings;Provide front desk coverage and assist clients as
needed;Answer telephone lines in the absence of the
Receptionist;Attend and take record of staff meetings;Assist with
clerical tasks such as faxing, making copies, screening calls and
correspondence (responding independently when possible).Answer
phones and provide information to callers; take messages and route
calls as appropriate;Maintaining voicemail and returning calls for
program. Notify staff when appointments arrive;Maintain a neat
office appearance on a daily basis;Schedule appointments; Perform
office closing duties;Ordering supplies, inventorying supplies,
tracking supply ordersMake monthly office supplies order per

is characteristic of a medical clinic environment. The physical

frequently required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel. The

arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20

employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in
person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment
is usually quiet.The employee may be in contact with individuals

homes. The employee may experience a number of unpleasant sensory
demands associated with the client's use of alcohol and drugs, and
the lack of personal care. The employee may also be exposed to
