At BMC, the knowledgeable Contracts Specialist will report to
the Paralegal or Market Admin Manager in charge of contract review
and administration. responsibilities include, but are not limited
to, reviewing contracts, preparing addendums, and tracking &
maintaining contracts and related files.
+ Primarily responsible for supporting contract administration
which includes the review of single-family and multi-family
contracts, preparing addendums to contracts, obtaining necessary
licenses or permits from city, county and state, tracking change
orders to contracts, and maintaining the contract files and
+ The Contracts Specialist will work with the credit department
to monitor payments on contracts and file notice letters and/or
liens against projects as necessary.
+ This position will be responsible for reviewing and
maintaining accurate files and assisting with various related
projects as required.
+ Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
+ Excellent communication skills, organizational and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
and set priorities.
+ Ability to rationalize and solve basic problems, follow verbal
and written instructions and respond appropriately.
+ Collect and analyze data and make decisions while under time
+ Minimum Experience:
+ 3 years minimum office experience and strong administrative
