Job Description Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description Join a dynamic family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. You will play a crucial role in processing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Fulfill product order invoices efficiently. Unload materials from incoming trucks. Load products onto delivery trucks for shipping. Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning production equipment and lines. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Essential Skills High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic math skills. Familiarity with computer and inventory software is preferred. Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust is beneficial. Forklift operation experience is essential, as it constitutes 80% of the role. Willingness to perform cleaning tasks and assist in various areas as needed. Work Environment The position is based in a warehouse production environment, where you will work a minimum of 42.5 hours per week, with additional overtime as needed. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, between 6 am and 5 pm. Expect to work in a setting with varying temperatures, humidity, and dust. Attire should be suitable for a warehouse environment.
