Job Description:

Description JOB DESCRIPTION Implement, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks for Jobvite’s web and mobile applications Develop, maintain, and execute API and UI automated tests to ensure sufficient test coverage in various areas across the Jobvite application Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to understand product requirements, UX design, and engineering design to author test plans and implement scalable test automation solutions Coordinate various test-related activities for ensuring on-time project delivery including identifying task dependencies, test schedules, creation of test data, and effective utilization of test environments BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or) equivalent field 5 years of quality engineering and/or software development experience Quality advocate with a good understanding of QA best practices 3 years of hands-on experience in Java and object-oriented programming methodologies Strong background utilizing test frameworks like TestNG /JUnit 2 years of hands-on experience with UI automation using Selenium Experience with RESTful web services/API automation Experience working with source control systems like SVN, Git , CVS, Perforce Understanding of CI/CD and experience working with tools like Jenkins, Team City Experience with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, TestLink and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla OTHER ATTRIBUTES Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision Thrives in a fast paced/changing environment Experience collaborating effectively with remote team members PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS White box testing mindset and ability to automate at the right layer in the code stack Hands-on experience with mobile test automation frameworks like Appium SCJP/OCPJP certification
