Content Analyst Department: Product Operations Location: Remote (Pacific Time Zone hours required) Employment Type: Full-time About Our Client Our client is an established technology organization that specializes in content management and search solutions. The Opportunity As a Content Analyst, you will serve as the critical bridge between our content authoring community and the technical teams that support them. You'll be the primary advocate for content creators, ensuring their workflows are optimized and their pain points are addressed through effective taxonomy solutions and content processes. Your role will involve analyzing complex data sets to identify trends that inform content strategies, while developing and maintaining sophisticated taxonomy models that enhance content organization and discoverability. You'll work closely with Product Managers and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that directly impact user experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity to combine technical expertise with user advocacy, making a tangible impact on how content creators interact with our client's platform. You'll be at the forefront of taxonomy innovation, working with AI-powered classification systems and contributing to the evolution of content management best practices. Key Responsibilities •Act as the primary point of contact for resolving end-user issues related to content creation, rendering, and search functionality •Advocate for the content authoring community by understanding their workflows, challenges, and requirements •Analyze data from multiple sources including user analytics and stakeholder feedback to identify optimization opportunities •Develop and maintain comprehensive taxonomies for effective content organization and classification •Conduct thorough gap analyses to align taxonomy models with existing content and data inventories •Evaluate and assess the quality of machine learning classification results and automated outputs •Enhance taxonomy models through advanced data analysis, corpus evaluation, and entity extraction techniques •Lead cross-functional initiatives including test case development and user acceptance testing coordination •Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders Required Qualifications Experience: •4 years of relevant professional experience in content management, taxonomy development, or related field •Proven experience working within Agile methodologies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups Technical Skills: •Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) with deep understanding of content creation best practices •Experience with content workflows, metadata management, and information architecture •Strong analytical abilities to interpret data from user behavior analytics and content performance metrics •Comprehensive knowledge of taxonomy development including concept identification and relationship mapping •Experience with controlled vocabulary management and enterprise system implementation Preferred Technical Tools: •Familiarity with WordPress for content management •Experience with JIRA for project tracking and management •Understanding of content or taxonomy-related AI initiatives (automated tagging, intent classification) Communication: •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications •Previous experience working in a technology organization environment •Hands-on experience with PoolParty or other professional taxonomy management tools •Proficiency with analytics software and data analysis tools •Knowledge of Python programming and database systems •Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science, Linguistics, Computer Science, or related discipline What We Offer Work Arrangement: •Fully remote position with flexible scheduling •Must be available during Pacific Time Zone business hours Professional Development: •Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies •Exposure to enterprise-level taxonomy and content management challenges •Collaborative environment with cross-functional project leadership opportunities Ready to Apply?
