Our client is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager/Regulatory Compliance
Position Description
Role Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Duration:
06 months
Work Location: San Franscisco, CA
(Can work Remote)
Work Schedule: M-F 9a-5p (strongly preferred to be US Pacific Time)
Project Overview:
Waymo's Regulatory Compliance team is searching for a temp to support external reporting to regulators, including collision reports, operational data reports, and ad hoc data reports, etc.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1.
Supporting the Regulatory Compliance team's management of submitting required collision reports to CA and federal regulators, including the collection of internal data, writing of narratives of collision events, fact-checking, and quality controlling reports before final submission to government agencies.
2.
Supporting the collection of internal Waymo operational data to respond to regulators' inquiries
3.
Performing internal reviews at the direction of a Regulatory Compliance program manager to ensure compliance with state and federal AV regulations
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)
1.
Experience assembling sensitive and critical regulatory reports to state and federal gov't agencies, or similar type of sensitive reports
2.
Fact-checking sensitive and critical data for data quality and accuracy
3.
Experience in performing internal audits or investigations that are safety sensitive or regulatory-focused in nature
4.
Self-starter with a fanatical attention to detail; exceptionally high levels of integrity, personal ownership, and work quality
5.
Demonstrable ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
6.
High technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn proprietary software
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role)
1.
Experience working in a highly regulated industry (ideally transportation related; would consider healthcare related)
