Locum OB/GYN Laborist needed in Chico, CA Independent Medical Center & Level II Trauma Center Daily Rate with 4 gratis hours included for 24/hrs call back travel expenses Credentialing: 1 month Start: 8/1/25 Schedule: 24-hour laborist position 8/1 would be EMR/Epic Training 8/15 - Primary 24 hour-call 8/16 - Back up call 8/17 - Primary 24 hour-call 9/5 - Primary 24 hour-call 9/6 - Back up call 9/7 - Primary Primary 24 hour-call 9/26 - Primary 24 hour-call 9/27 - Back up call 9/28 - Primary 24 hour-call Patient Volume: 2,000 annual births They will be responsible for 24-hour in house call on Fridays and Sundays and they will be back up call on Saturdays Procedures: No circumcisions Responsible for midwives and overseeing them Friday - 24 hour in house call Saturday - Back up Sunday - 24 hour in house call Level II Trauma Center They have a full Trauma Team Full ED Team 24-hour in house Anesthesia team When they are on back up call there will be 1 other physician on back up call with them as well, so they will have back up if needed. EMR: EPIC License: CA license Certifications: Board Certified OB/GYN
