Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PICC for a travel nursing job in Roseville, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICC - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 39 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced PICC Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in vascular access to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PICC line insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to work in high-acuity settings such as inpatient units and emergency departments. Work Settings: - Adult Inpatient (Preferred) - Emergency Department (Preferred) Key Responsibilities: - Perform PICC line insertions using ultrasound guidance - Manage and maintain vascular access devices - Conduct central line blood draws and ensure line patency - Perform dressing changes and ensure proper site care - Monitor and assess catheter sites for complications - Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infections - Troubleshoot vascular access issues and device complications - Confirm tip placement via Chest X-ray and IC-ECG methods - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of vascular access device management - Proficiency in: - Aseptic technique - Catheter insertion and removal - Flushing and patency assessment - Device stabilization - Site assessment and dressing protocols - Experience with ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access Requirements: - Active California RN License (Required) - BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required) - Minimum 2 years of PICC RN / Vascular Access experience (Required) Work Environment: - Fast-paced clinical setting - High-acuity patient care - Collaborative, team-oriented environment About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
