Registered Nurse (RN) | Infusion Location: San Mateo, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,071 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: CA License required Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology infusion - Valid state nursing license - BLS and Chemo certification in hand Description: The Registered Nurse will work in an Oncology Infusion Center. The primary focus will be on administering and managing chemotherapy treatments. Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses to treatments and medications. The nurse will provide education and support to patients and their families. Experience with infusion therapy is required. Active immunotherapy knowledge is preferred. Candidates should possess skills in managing central lines and IV administration. Knowledge in oncology-related diagnoses such as breast cancer and leukemia is essential. The role will involve patient assessments and recognizing abnormal lab values. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment during chemotherapy administration. Knowledge about handling and disposal of cytotoxic materials is required. Staff will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and patient advocacy skills. Responsibilities will include documentation in electronic health records. Epic charting experience is preferred. The work environment will include various patient age groups, including adults and geriatrics. Daily census in the unit will average around 45 patients.
