the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Pediatrics RN in San Francisco, California, 94158! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric
Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift:
12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Pediatric Cardiac
Transitional Care or Step Down PICU experience License: Registered
Nurse License in California Certifications: AHA BLS and PALS
Must-Have: Candidates must be willing and able to float to other
units and facilities as needed. Candidates must have experience
with telemetry, arterial lines, and central lines. Candidates must
provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster. Description:
This position involves working in a pediatric step-down unit. The
unit cares for children with complex cardiac conditions. Daily
census typically involves caring for 9 patients. Patient age groups
range from neonates to adolescents. The team supports various
interdisciplinary services. The nurse will be responsible for
monitoring and managing patients with heart conditions. Knowledge
of pediatric early warning scores and rapid response teams is
essential. The position requires experience in managing
post-operative cardiac patients. Skills in phlebotomy, IV
management, and the use of high-flow nasal cannula are necessary.
The nurse will be involved in administering blood products and
caring for central lines. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree
in Nursing. Prior experience in a teaching hospital is preferred. 5
