Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time occupational therapist position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Oroville, California. This contract assignment runs from ASAP through June 5, 2026, offering approximately 14 to 15 hours per week over two days onsite. The role is ideal for therapists with a California OT license who are interested in supporting school-aged children within a public education environment. Responsibilities include: Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations as assigned Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations governing school-based therapy services Desired qualifications and experience: Current California occupational therapy license required Previous experience working as an OT in a school setting preferred Ability to perform assessments and provide interventions for pediatric clients in educational environments Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate care within multidisciplinary teams Benefits of this role include working within a supportive school system and the opportunity to impact K-12 student development through therapeutic services.
