Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), School-Based Invo Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our school-based services in McClellan, CA. Invo is the nation---s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities. To qualify, applicants must: -- Have active State licensure or ability to obtain required licensure -- Experience working in school programs or with pediatric populations is preferred -- Provide nursing care and implement first aid measures for students as needed and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned -- Administer daily and as-needed medications and nursing care procedures prescribed by the student---s physician and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned -- Initiate emergency procedures for students and staff as needed and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned -- Follow procedures and protocols for suspected cases of child abuse and neglect -- Record immunizations, health finding, and other relevant health data and maintain appropriate records -- Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents -- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations -- Perform other LVN duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification What to expect from your Invo experience?
