Remote candidates will also be considered.*Position title will be based on qualifications listed below.Purpose:The Senior Director provides medical and scientific strategic and operational input into core medical affairs activities such as healthcare professional/provider interactions, data generation, educational initiatives, patient safety, and market access. Works closely with marketing to integrate medical insights into brand strategies and supports data communication and stakeholder engagement activities, including leading or contributing to asset strategies and external stakeholder interactions.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global teams and cross-functional partners to support indications/projects, providing leadership and oversight.
  • Lead medical affairs initiatives for specific assets, developing scientifically accurate marketing materials and educational programs.
  • Develop and execute medical and scientific strategies, including data generation, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support clinical trial design and review, including Phase II-III programs.
  • Lead external scientific advisory boards and educational initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge through conferences and literature, initiating research projects for publication.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and compliance for scientific activities.QualificationsSenior Medical Director:
    • Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or equivalent; residency/fellowship preferred; licensing is a plus.
    • At least 5 years of clinical trial experience; 7+ years preferred.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills.
    • Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and therapeutic expertise.Senior Scientific Director:
      • PhD or PharmD; postdoctoral experience preferred.
      • Typically 15+ years in industry or academia, with significant clinical or medical affairs experience.
