globe.JOB SUMMARYThe Project Manager will lead and support assigned
projects, programs, and initiatives of low to medium complexity,
applying project management expertise to support the company and
group's strategy. This role will also incorporate software
development skills to enhance project outcomes. The Project Manager
will manage assigned projects through various stages of the project
lifecycle, from concept, through development, to implementation,
and ensure the delivery of quality solutions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESProject Management
* Define concise goals and objectives within a project
framework.
* Develop and own project plan, establishing a road map with clear
dates and clear deliverables.
* Accountable for overall project success - including application
development, schedule, quality, and scope management.
* Identify creative ways to implement corrective actions quickly
and effectively.
* Provide regular project updates to project team, relevant
departments, stakeholders, project champions, and senior leadership
as needed.
* Facilitate communication and education for all interested parties
as deemed necessary.
* Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated
with this position and as directed by supervisor.
* Comply and follow all procedures within the company security
policy.
* May perform other duties and responsibilities as
assigned.Software Development
* Work with functional managers and sector leads to establish and
maintain technical standards and guidelines for their area.
* Develop applications using low code development tools.
* Develop and maintain reports using PowerBI and similar tools.
* Review and evaluate new technologies that may be beneficial to
current and upcoming project work.
* Facilitate the alignment of solutions within the overall
Technology Services strategy.
* Design solutions on an Enterprise level with a medium level of
guidance.
* Assure best practices are defined and followed.
* Drive consistency across applications and projects wherever
possible.
* Act as an escalation for technical issues and support.
* Identify and communicate risks to the business.
* Perform and/or support other duties and responsibilities of team
members as required.JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience developing applications using no or low code
platforms.
* Experience with PowerBI or other reporting software.
* Experience with database management such as SQL or Dataverse.
* Ability to effectively communicate and present information to
management.
* Demonstrate high performance orientation, detail orientation, and
sound judgment.
* Demonstrate ability to build and leverage relationships,
implement change, and manage projects.
* Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office
products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills
required.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C#,
Java, etc is desired.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science,
electrical engineering or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 1-2 years experience in project management
* Previous experience in computer programming and/or application
development.
* Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or
